Star Editor is on the App Store. It's free, and it collects nothing.

Star Editor is live on the App Store. It's a free app for making a real website on your iPhone or iPad, and it runs on Apple-silicon Macs too. You don't need to know any code.

Why I built it
A friend needed a public website for a college portfolio. They were used to tools like WordPress. I wanted to get them onto Cloudflare's free hosting, but there was no CMS-style tool for publishing and maintaining a site there. So I made one.
What it does
You write on the page itself. Tap the text and type. What you see is what visitors see.
Add photos, video, buttons and headings, and pick a look. Then press Publish. Star Editor builds the site and puts it online at its own address.
Your site, your account
Sites are published to Cloudflare Pages on your own free Cloudflare account. What gets published is plain HTML and CSS. If you stop using Star Editor, your site stays up.
There's no account with me, no server of mine, no analytics and no tracking. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." Your site stays on your device until you publish, and then goes straight to your Cloudflare account. Location and camera data are stripped from photos before they go up.
Everything except publishing works offline, and you can export a full backup of any site.
(Star Editor isn't affiliated with Cloudflare. Cloudflare accounts are for adults 18 and over.)
Free
I build enterprise software. I also make useful free apps, and Star Editor is one of them. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
